The title is a working title and the subtitle is obviously not going to stay and just a joke aimed at light novel aiming conventions, but I've been working on a magical girl script on and off for a while, I just got past writing the first act where the main character, Cate, finds out that she is, in fact, an immortal magical girl. All I really know about the story going forward is that I want to have a love web with a few of the other girls who fall for her for various reasons.
The three that I have in the harem so far are as follows:
Cadence - A musician who has sound based powers and thus can't really sing in the presence of many people. Cate has Wolverine level regeneration, so she's the only person who can actually listen to Cadence's music. Her and Cate used to date.
Duvessa - An Irish woman who uses her wind-based super speed to fight the criminal underground in her free time. She used to date Cadence but becomes friends with Cate after having a few drinks with her.
Hitomi - The first magical girl who was born in Japan 2000 years prior to the story. Her immortality is a bit different from Cate's though, as she's reborn from her corpse when she dies, aging rapidly for 3 months after until she reaches the age of 25. Not even she knows her original birth name. She falls for Cate after realizing that they're potentially the only two immortals in existence. She has time manipulation powers (think Homura Akemi but more emotionally stable).
There are 4 jobs for magical girls within their association:
Matriarch - The leader of each coven, Hitomi is one of the most politically powerful due to her immense experience. Cadence will eventually become one due to her inability to die.
Messengers - These members relay messages between all the covens. Duvessa is one of them, making use of her super speed.
Bruisers - These ones do a lot of the front-line fighting, they can take a hit and deal damage in return. Cadence is one of these due to her supersonic voice.
Supports - These members usually have utility powers, they have uses in and out of combat and often have specific roles within their covens or territories. These can be oracles, who can interpret the dreams and determine powers, healers, or information gatherers. Cate has an immense healing ability, so she starts her journey as a support magical girl.
